Dirty Revolution - 'Before the Fire'

Format : CD and Download
Catalogue # : REBL013
Release Date : 2010

On their debut album ‘Before The Fire’, Dirty Revolution have created the perfect taster of their distinct brand of rebel music. ‘The Rev’ fit right in alongside the progressive creative vision of the Rebel Alliance roster as well as providing a nod to the old-school ska and punk of bands like The Slits and The Selecter. Front-woman Reb's signature vocals and haunting melodica soar over Stu’s roaring punk guitar riffs, the deep dub styling of bassist Morgan and versatile beats of drummer Jim, all perfectly captured by Peter Miles at Holne Bridge Studios (King Blues, Sonic Boom Six, Random Hand).

Before The Fire’ is eagerly awaited by a broad spectrum of fans ranging from traditionalist ska/reggae lovers and punk rockers to genre mash up appreciating youths. In anticipation of the release, Dirty Revolution are heading off on a headline tour is in late Feb/early March 2010 which will be followed by dates alongside the likes of The Slackers, Mustard Plug and the cream of the UK scene.
